RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — As locals in central Virginia headed home Monday amid threats of storms and showers, there were thousands of reported power outages in the area. While outages have dropped in RVA, several Dominion Energy customers are still without power.
As of 11:30 p.m., Dominion Energy’s website states that there are nearly 400 customers without power in the Richmond Metro and Tri-Cities area. More than 1,400 customers don’t have power in Southeastern Virginia.
It is unclear if the power outages are weather-related.
