Nobody was hurt Friday evening when a pickup truck turned onto the train tracks in the Town of Ashland.

Ashland Police tell 8News it happened about 6 p.m. when the driver tried to make a left hand turn onto North Railroad Avenue from Route 54.

The driver ended up on the northbound train tracks and drove for several seconds before stopping to get out of the vehicle.

Ashland Police say nobody was hurt but the driver received a summons for the improper turn.
