Police: Man killed in Chesterfield crash may have had medical emergency

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities say a 72-year-old man killed in a Chesterfield County crash late Monday morning may have had a medical emergency. 

The crash occurred at about 11 a.m. in the 12600 block of Bailey Bridge Road. 

Police said a Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by Timothy Brown, of the 10800 block of Avening Road, ran off the road and crashed into a ditch. Brown was found unresponsive in the vehicle. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

According to police, Brown may have been experiencing a medical emergency at the time of the crash.
