Police: Missing Prince George County man with dementia found safe

UPDATE: Prince George County Police said Tuesday morning that Askia Hasan has been found safe. 


PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police has issued a Senior Alert Tuesday morning on behalf of the Prince George County Police Department. 

Police are looking for Askia Hasan, who is believed to be in danger and was last seen on Monday at 8:22 p.m. at his home on Indian Road in Petersburg. 

Hasan, 73, is described as five feet eight inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with grey eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a purple shirt, black pants and brown dress shoes. Hasan may also refer to himself as Henry Moore.
