PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) – A juvenile male was killed Friday in a shooting in a Prince George County mobile home park, police said.
Prince George County police said officers responded to the 8000 block of Swift Street after 7 p.m. for a reported shooting at Pine Ridge mobile home park.
Officers found one victim, identified as a juvenile male, who was found shot dead, police said. The department warned people to avoid the area on its Facebook page, citing the “active investigation and heavy police presence.”
An investigation into the fatal shooting is underway.
At around11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, the Prince George County Police Department said two arrests have been made in connection to the death of the juvenile male, who police said was 16 years old.
A 16-year-old juvenile from Prince George County has been charged with second-degree murder, possession of a firearm under 18 and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Je’Juan Darren White, aged 19, also from Prince George, has been charged with accessory after the fact, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and carrying a concealed weapon, according to police.
