RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Animal Care and Control tell 8News that they are not filing charges against a man accused of dog abuse at a Church Hill dog park.

On Oct. 24, a woman claimed on the Nextdoor app that she saw a man shove a hose down the dog’s throat at the Chimborazo dog park.

RACC became aware of the alleged incident through various social media posts.

The Commonwealth’s Attorney says there is not enough evidence to move forward with the case.
