I-95 North reopened in Richmond’s Southside after crash

UPDATE: According to VDOT, the roadway has reopened, but traffic is still backed up between Walmsley Boulevard and Maury Street.

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — All northbound lanes of Interstate 95 North are closed in Richmond’s Southside due to a multi-vehicle crash.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the crash took place at mile marker 72, just south of the Maury Street exit. All northbound lanes are closed between Walmsley Boulevard and Maury Street.
