Police: 26-year-old killed in Richmond double shooting


RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Police are investigating a double shooting in Richmond after finding two people, including one who was already dead, who were shot on Wednesday. 

According to Richmond Police, officers responded to the 3200 block of Stockton Street at 9:15 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, authorities found two men who had been shot. 

One of the victims, identified as Leroy Williams III, was found dead at the scene and another was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. Williams, a 26-year-old from Richmond, was found lying in the road while the other victim was found on a nearby porch.
