Police: Missing local artist found safe in Texas

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A local artist who was reported missing in early February has been found in Texas.

The Richmond Police Department said Tuesday that 66-year-old David T. Sines was located Monday in Dallas, Tx.

Before being located, Sines was last seen Thursday, February 7 at his workplace in Scott’s Addition.

8News previously spoke with the owner of ZZQ Texas craft Barbeque who informed us that Sines built tables, door handles, and bar tap handles for them.  Sines even has a chair by the bar with his name on it.  

The owner also informed us that Sines lives with her and her husband and that both were concerned about his whereabouts. 

Anyone who sees David T. Sines or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call Major Crimes Detective G. Brissette at (804) 646-3867 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000, or www.7801000.com. The public can also call the Department’s non-emergency number at (804) 646-5100 and provide information on the whereabouts of Sines.
