Richmond Animal Care and Control treat two dogs that were shot over July 4 weekend


RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Emergency veterinarians and workers with Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) were busy over the July 4 weekend, even treating two dogs that had been shot. One dog didn’t survive.

A post to the RACC Facebook page details treating the canines along with a number of other animals suffering various injuries.

It remains unclear how the dogs were shot and whether the shootings were intentional or accidental.
