RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities have identified the victim of a Monday morning shooting in Richmond’s Bellemeade neighborhood.
Stephon B. Clarke, 33, was found unconscious and suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
At approximately 2:36 a.m., police received a call for random gunfire in the 1400 block of Drewry Street.
Clarke was shot in the torso, police say.
Clarke was taken to VCU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Police don’t have any suspect information at this time.
