RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A student was found with a knife in their bag as they were entering Thomas Jefferson High School this morning.
According to Matthew Stanley of Richmond Public Schools, a knife was found by a school security guard during a routine bag search as students were coming into school. The knife did not make it past the school’s entrance.
