UPDATE: According to VDOT, all lanes have reopened and the scene is clear.
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Two lanes of interstate 95 North are closed in Richmond due to a multi-vehicle crash.
According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, the crash took place at mile marker 78.6, just after the Arthur Ashe Boulevard exit. The northbound left and center lanes are both currently closed.
Traffic is currently backed up nearly to Chamberlayne Avenue. Drivers are asked to use alternate routes.
