RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A vehicle crash on Interstate 95 caused delays for drivers in Richmond.

The crash was first reported around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, and was located on I-95 North near the Arthur Ashe Boulevard exit.

According to VDOT, the north right lane and right shoulder were closed. At one point, there was a backup of approximately three miles.

VDOT reported that the lanes had been reopened and the scene was clear around 9 a.m.
