‘What a night!’ Richmond Police officers rescue snake coiled under car

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A couple of Richmond Police officers had quite an interesting Sunday night.

Officers Bruington and Leone were dispatched to an animal call in the city. When they arrived on the scene, they found a snake coiled under a car.

The snake was taken to Richmond Animal Care and Control where he is now “safe and sound.”

“What a night!” Richmond Police said in a Facebook post that also showed a picture of the officers holding the snake.
