Shockoe Bottom hosts Richmond Cider Celebration

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) - Hundreds made their way to Shockoe Bottom Saturday for the 6th annual Richmond Cider Celebration.

The celebration is a part of Virginia Cider week.

The event featured over 10 Virginia cideries offering beverages for visitors to sample.
Popular flavors returned along with a few new varieties.

Live music, food, and cider connected businesses to customers.

"It's a great chance to see I think 11 cideries today," said Buskey Cider owner William Correll.   "A lot of different options all over the state. We're one of the best apple growing states in the country."

The celebration is hosted by the Enrichmond Foundation.
