HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger held her fourth town hall event since being elected, but her first in Henrico County.
A few hundred constituents filled the auditorium of JR Tucker High School for the event. Spanberger said she is working to bring tax relief to the people of Henrico County. Another of the most talked about issues – the government shut down.
“I am firmly in the camp that if the government is shut down, no member of the leg branch should receive a salary because if we’re willing to use other people’s salaries as a negotiating tool we should be willing to put our own on the table,” Spanberger said at the town hall event.
When asked about the ‘Mueller Report,’ Spanberger said she has to fully read the document before making any judgments about it.
