PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Virginia State Police is asking for the public’s help locating a convicted sex offender who is wanted for failing to register as a sex offender in Prince Edward County.

Mark Anthony Miller, 58, last registered as a sex offender with Virginia State Police in August 2018 and is currently wanted in Prince Edward County for failing to re-register in November.

Miller was previously employed at a logging operation in Cumberland, according to VSP, and was previously living on Church Street in the town of Farmville. Police say he has failed to update the State Police Sex Offender Registry of these changes.

Miller, who is known to frequent the Farmville area, is described as a 6-foot-2, 220-pound black male with gray hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Miller’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact state police by using the “Tips” link located under the offender’s picture on the Virginia State Police Sex Offender Registry search page.
