Local News

(WRIC)– The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles wants drivers to switch over to the REAL ID.

By October 2020, you must have a REAL ID in order to board a domestic flight or access federal facilities such as military bases. It will also meet federal requirements.

To obtain the new license you will need to provide one proof identity, one proof of legal presence, two proofs of Virginia residency and one proof of your social security number.
