RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Those who love hiking, fishing, picnics and outdoor adventures have a chance to win a free parking pass for a year from Virginia State Parks.
Through the end of June, the state park system is hosting the “Get Outdoors!” challenge. People who visit five different state parks during that timeframe are eligible to win a free one-year Virginia State Parks Passport, which covers parking fees at all state parks. The challenge started on May 18.
If the challenge is completed, households will receive one $75 gift certificate, which is redeemable for the annual pass, or an overnight stay at a state park.
All information about the five trips need to be entered into the Virginia State Parks Trail Quest application, by midnight on July 5.
Only one pass per address will be awarded. More information about the contest can be found here.
