Cutright told 8news, she heard gunfire.

“Next thing I know, I heard two gunshots from behind me on my left. What in the world was that? First thing I thought about was that I’ve got a fiance and a child to get home to. I’m just going to walk back inside. The only thing that could run through my mind was if they tried to flee the scene. I didn’t want them to come to my store.”

The driver of the Kia Sportage suffered life threatening injuries. The passenger suffered serious injuries.
