RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — A fast-moving storm rolled through Central Virginia on Sunday evening.
Timelapse video shows rain pouring down on Richmond for several minutes, before sunny skies reappear.
The storm also brought strong winds that knocked down trees and power poles. A tree fell on Scherer Drive in Chesterfield and brought a powerline down with it.
Thousands of Dominion Energy customers in Central Virginia did not have electricity Sunday night.
