DINWIDDIE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Students at Dinwiddie Elementary School found a creative way to celebrate the end of SOL testing.
For every subject that received an 80 percent or higher pass rate, students earned a chance to throw a pie at a staff member’s face.
Students in the fifth grade earned a pie for every subject, while the third and fourth graders earned one pie each.
One student decided to throw their pie at the school’s principal, Davis Roberts Jr. Watch in the video player above.
The school also celebrated with a morning of bubble soccer, water tag, laser tag and a gaming truck.
