YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) – Authorities in York County have arrested a man in connection with the theft of a donations jar for fallen Virginia State Trooper Chad Dermyer.
Tyree Burrell, 25, was arrested after deputies with the York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office obtained and served a warrant for larceny on Saturday.
The donations jar was reported stolen Wednesday, April 20 from a 7-Eleven off of Route 17.
