WKRN — A Nashville man with 445 pounds of marijuana was arrested Thursday by the Major Case Task Force, with help from Homeland Security investigators.
Police say they were watching Tam Nguyen when a storage pod was delivered to him at 6350 Nolensville Pike. When they searched the pod police found 215 pounds of marijuana in boxes.
Then they searched his home on Ashmore Drive and found another 230 pounds of weed, plus close to $40,000 in cash and another $10,000 worth of money orders. Investigators say the marijuana was shipped from California to be sold in the Nashville area.
Nguyen faces two felony marijuana charges. He’s in jail with bond set at $105,000.
