RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — No one was injured in an overnight fire in Richmond. The Red Cross requested to assist 10 people, however. 

It happened in the 2400 block of Summer Hill Avenue.

Emergency crews responded to a single-story home on fire just after 12:35 a.m. Crews were able to fully extinguish the flames in less than 15 minutes.

The Red Cross requested to assist five adults and 5 juveniles.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
