PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A heavy police presence in Prince George County has shut down the area of Briarwood Road and Madison Street for hours on Thursday.
The public is urged to avoid the area while police are on scene.
According to Prince George Police Department, the scene was still active as of 3:09 p.m.
Police will update 8News with more information on the cause of the presence once it is available.
