RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Representatives from the Richmond SPCA and Richmond Ballet are partnering up to make dogs available during upcoming performances of “The Nutcracker.”
The performances will be taking place Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
During the “Pupcracker” performances, the SPCA will bring dogs available for adoption on stage during the performance.
This will be the sixth year Richmond Ballet has had the Richmond SPCA dogs in the Nutcracker.
The dogs will then be available for adoption at intermission and directly after the show in the Carpenter Theatre lobby. At that point, members of the audience can meet the dogs and speak with a Richmond SPCA adoption counselor.
