Registration open for Pre-K in Petersburg

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — The application process is now open for the free Pre-K program offered by Petersburg City Public Schools. 

Westview Early Childhood Education Center is accepting applications who will be 3 or 4-years-old by Sept. 30. 

Those interested need to complete an online application. After completion of the form, the school system said applicants will be contacted to complete the application. 

Those who are unable to apply online, or who are not contacted within 48 hours can call Westview at 804-861-1274. 

A parent photo identification, child’s certified original birth certificate, proof of residency (or a notorized “lives-with” form) and proof of income for all adults in the home is required for the appointment.
