RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Washington Redskins’ 2018 season was defined by injuries. On the first day of this year’s off-season workouts, they’ll have to deal with another one.
According to multiple sources, linebacker Reuben Foster was removed from the field in a cart after an apparent left-leg injury.
Head Coach Jay Gruden says, “When you see especially Reuben’s type of player that he is the energy that he brings he wouldn’t be laying down unless something was wrong , but hopefully we will hope for the best now until we get the results.”
The Redskins signed foster on November 27 of last year. that was three days after he was charged with domestic violence and two days after the San Francisco 49ers released him.
Foster was placed on the commissioner’s exempt list for the rest of the season and did not play for the
Redskins. The charges were dropped in January and Foster was reinstated in April.
