RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Fire and Emergency Services personnel are temporarily relocating one of their fire stations.
The personnel housed at Fire Station 1, located at 308 North 24th Street are being relocated to various nearby stations.
A press release distributed by the Fire Department said that the action will have a minimal effect on service in this fire district.
The release also said that the move was being made as a precaution while the Fire Administration deals with a “building issue.”
