MIDLOTHIAN, Va. (WRIC) — Local James River High School student Tania Matthews is hosting an event to benefit those suffering from Sickle Cell Anemia, as well as bring awareness to the disease.
The event will be Saturday March 31st at James River High School. It is from noon until 2pm, and is free to the public. Donations are accepted, and will be donated to OSCAR, the Sickle Cell Association of Richmond.
