HENRICO, Va. (WRIC) — A tractor-trailer crash that closed two lanes of the Varina-Enon Bridge on Monday afternoon has cleared the traffic backup but one lane remains closed.
The center and left lanes of the bridge, near mile marker 18 on Interstate 295 South, were closed because of a crash involving a tractor-trailer, VDOT said.
The center lane is now open and traffic is using the right and center lanes to get by.
The left lane is still closed “as part of a Varina-Enon Bridge restoration project,” VDOT says.
