RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) —- A New Jersey state trooper pulled over the police officer who delivered him back in 1991.
When Trooper Michael Patterson pulled over Matthew Bailly for a traffic violation, the two started talking. Patterson discovered that Bailly had worked as an officer in his hometown.
When Patterson told Bailly what street he had lived on, Bailly said he had delivered a baby on that street as a rookie officer, named Michael.
Patterson then shook Bailly’s hand and said “My name is Michael Patterson, sir. Thank you for delivering me.”
Police did not say if Bailly received a citation.
