US Disabled Golf Championships

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Day one at the US Disabled Open Golf Championship has concluded with one more round to be played tomorrow.

Golfers from all around the world are participating in the tournament that will count towards the world rankings.
One golf participant, Keegan Kilroy says, “I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy when I was 18. Previous to that  was a free style skier. Started noticing that I wasn’t able to meet a lot of the physical testing that was going on and I got diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy which ended my ski career.”

But the disabilities that these athletes face, don’t take them from competing in their favorite sport.
