RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Ahead of Hurricane Florence, Virginia Commonwealth University will close on Thursday, canceling all classes, until Sunday.
According to VCU’s Alert page, all classes, including online courses, will be canceled until Sunday.
The university’s medical center will remain open and be fully operational.
“This decision gives students the opportunity to leave campus without worrying about travel conditions or missed coursework,” the university’s site stated.
