ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR News) – A Roanoke family’s Halloween decorations were stolen from their front yard on the eve or morning of Halloween.
David Jessee is referring to the theft of his decorations as “Nightmare on Fleming Avenue”. His wife told WFXR, they noticed the decorations were missing around 6:30 a.m. when they went to turn on the inflatable decor early in the morning. They like to turn on the lights for the kids going to school.
The following inflatable decorations were stolen: a black cat, a pumpkin, Frankenstein, and a tall Jack the Pumpkin King.
The family has been decorating for around 9 years now. They say thefts of holiday decorations has happened before to other neighbors on their street.
Jessee posted on social media that he plans to check Craigslist and pawnshops for his lost property.
