Lynchburg resident charged with indecent liberties with child

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR News) – A 40-year-old Lynchburg man has been arrested and charged with taking indecent liberties with a 14-year-old female.

According to Lynchburg Police, for the past six months, they’ve been working jointly with the Fargo Police Department in North Dakota, as well as US Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations on the case that led to the arrest of Jared Miller Anderson. 

Anderson has been charged with 21 counts of taking indecent liberties with a child under the age of 15 as well as the use of communications systems to facilitate certain offenses involving children. 

Anderson was arrested without incident in the 2500 block of Langhorne Road and is being held without bond at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.
