RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Virginia Information Technologies Agency says services to all state agencies impacted by connectivity outages Thursday have been restored.
VITA, Virginia’s information technology agency, posted a tweet earlier sharing the news about the outages after the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles issued its own tweet saying it was experiencing issues processing transactions due to the outage.
The DMV has since reported that the agency can now process transactions.
“DMV offices and website are once again able to process transactions following a Commonwealth of Virginia network outage. Thanks to all our customers for their patience while this issue was resolved,” the DMV wrote on Twitter after alerting customers of the issue earlier in the day.
