CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) -- The wrong ballots were sent to a Chesapeake precinct Tuesday morning, according to officials.
A spokesperson with the Chesapeake Voter Registrar's Office told 10 On Your Side the wrong ballots were sent to the Western Branch Middle School precinct. The issue has been fixed, and officials were able to print correct batches of the ballots needed.
The precinct has an ADA TouchWriter that enabled residents to vote one at a time while officials worked to correct the problem.
Virginia Department of Elections Commissioner Christopher Piper is expected to address the issue later Tuesday morning.
