WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WRIC) — Authorities are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened on Friday afternoon.

Officers with the Prince William County Police arrived at the 14200 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at 4:09 p.m. after receiving a call about a motorcycle crash.

An investigation from police revealed that a 2018 Lexus had attempted to turn into a business while driving northbound on Jefferson Davis Hwy.

The driver of the Lexus turned “across stopped, heavy southbound traffic when the vehicle was struck by a 2002 Kawasaki ZX600J motorcycle,” according to a release from Prince William County Police.

The motorcyclist, identified as Musa Seisay, was traveling southbound on the shoulder of Jefferson Davis Hwy.

Seisay, a 29-year old man from Woodbridge, died at the scene, according to Prince William County Police.

The driver of the car, identified only as a 44-year old woman of Lorton, stayed on the scene until police arrived. Investigators are unaware if speed had anything to do with the crash at this time.

Alcohol and drugs were not identified as factors in the crash, according to Prince William County Police.

Police will continue its investigation. Charges stemming from the crash are pending.
