CENTREVILLE, Va.(WAVY/WDVM) – A Newport News man is accused of taking hundreds of videos of naked men in a northern Virginia spa.

Wednesday Newport News Police arrested Kwame Anderson, 28, at his Newport News home and charged him with three felony counts of unlawful filming of a minor, one misdemeanor count for unlawful dissemination of video, and one misdemeanor count for unlawful filming of an adult.

Anderson is believed to have filmed videos of naked or partially nude men at the Spa World located in Centreville, Virginia, according to Fairfax County Police. In the more than 150 videos discovered, 81 victims were identified, three of which appear to be minors.

The recordings appear to begin in 2014, yet police say it wasn’t until May of 2018, that a man found a nude photo of himself for sale on a popular social media website. He contacted spa managers, who contacted the police.

Detectives traced the photo’s IP address to Anderson, who was selling about 25 percent of the photos he took of his unsuspecting victims.

Police say he was not employed at the spa. Detectives are working with other divisions to locate victims captured in 80 additional videos.

If you believe you were one of the victims caught on camera, Fairfax County police encourage you to call 703-246-7800 or text 571-234-8055.
