CHARLES CITY COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — According to the Virginia State Police, one person is dead after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday in Charles City County. The crash occurred around 4:45 p.m. on Roxbury Road at the Benjamin Harrison Bridge in Charles City Co.
A 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser was travelling south on Roxbury Road when it ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected left crossing into the northbound lane and striking a 2015 Buick Enclave head-on.
The driver of the Chrysler, Willie Noise, Jr., 69 of Petersburg, Virginia was med-flighted to MCV with serious life-threatening injuries. The passenger, Charles H. Moss, 64 of Petersburg, Virginia died at the scene; neither was wearing seatbelts. The driver of the Buick, Lynn Tucker, 57 of Newport News, Virginia and a passenger, Charles Tucker (husband), 60 of Newport News, Virginia were transported to MCV hospital with serious injuries.This is a developing story.
