Baby ducks rescued from storm drain in Virginia

BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) – Ten baby ducks are back with their mother thanks to firefighters in Bristol, Virginia. 

According to the Bristol, Va. Professional Firefighters Association, the ducks were rescued from a storm drain Tuesday at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Euclid Avenue.

Truck 1 and Battalion 1 responded to the scene.

The association says momma duck was frantically walking around the drain while her babies were trapped inside. 

All ducks were rescued successfully and none were injured.
