WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – Police at the College of William & Mary say they are investigating a threatening e-mail that was related to the recent threats at Virginia Tech.

The Chairman of the college’s Emergency Management Team sent a note to the campus community saying, they learned about the threats Monday afternoon. They say the e-mail went to someone who also was affiliated with Virginia Tech.

That person reported the e-mail. W&M officials say they have been working with Tech police on this investigation.

So far, Virginia Tech police have not said exactly what that threat was. They say several dozen people in Blacksburg got the threats.
